Haudenosaunee Women–From SkyWoman to Influence on American Suffrage
Perry Ground a member of the Turtle Clan in Onondaga Nation of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy will share stories starting with the Creation Story and SkyWoman and highlight the important responsibilities woman have throughout history. He will also talk about how the Haudenosaunee women played influencing the ideas of early suffragists. Hosted by the Library and the Bergen Historical Society.
