SUMMARY:Jug Band Performance after Byron Memorial Day Parade at 11:15am
DESCRIPTION:Join us after the parade at the Byron Fire Hall on Rt. 237.  The Ruckus Juice Jug Stompers (Rochester’s premiere jug band) perform a wide variety of jug band songs. Instruments include; banjolin (a hybrid banjo/mandolin instrument), jug and kazoo and can also feature guitar, fiddle, banjo, upright bass, and/or washboard. They share a bit of history of this music & instruments. Song selection allows for audience participation singing along and doing call-and-response.\nThis project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by GO ART!\n
